Stopping Birth Control

Birth control is a widely used method that inhibits a woman from getting pregnant. Many woman use things like different methods, called the barrier method, in which in when a male or female, uses something to prevent sperm from entering the vulva.

Many women use the method of the birth control pill, which is commonly called “The Pill”. Its a hormonal method in which the chemicals in the pill, estrogen, and progestin help to throw off the reproductive track in the female. The pill is one of the most fastest growing, most popular method for female contraceptives available right now. There are certain side-effects you may get from taking the pill, but many are not that severe, and only occur in rare occasions. If your taking the birth control pill, and stop taking the pill after a while, you can expect to see certain side-effects.

The reason you have side-effects after coming off the pill, is because your body, has got use to taking those hormones everyday, and then after stopping the lack of the hormones cause your body to not function right, and must get back into the normal day to day life without those hormones. Some side-effects include weight loss, acne, vaginal bleeding, irregular menstrual cycle. The pill is not the only thing that will cause side-effects if you stop taking it. The birth control patch, the same thing as the pill, will also cause these types of side effects.

The patch is the same thing as the birth control pill, the only difference is that its a patch that you put on your body instead of a oral, contraceptive. Many women can expect different side-effects depending on what there body type is like. The only way to stop the side-effects from happening is letting them stop on there own, your body justĀ has to get use to being without the hormones from everyday activity, then depending on the hormones everyday.
