Birth Control And Acne
Many different women take birth control pills out in the world to help prevent pregnancy, and in some cases while the women have taken the pill, they have been known to lose there acne. Some studies have shown that some birth control pills actually do remove acne.
A Lot of women that take birth control pills, experience all kinds of different side-effects from the pill, ranging from weight gain, to vaginal bleeding, all the way to depression. Although some women have even reported to say that the birth control pill has actually helped there acne to disappear. This is actually been proven to be true. Some hormones in the pill called Androgen actually lower the increase of oil in the skin, and in which case helps to remove the acne most people have on there face. Androgen is a hormone in the pill, that must be there in some pills in order to help prevent the pregnancy.
There was a recent study in french colleges to show that some birth control pills have this hormone in them, and then again some don’t. The schools were even said to say that some of the pills, were known to cause the acne to appear in some cases. In rare occasions the hormone progestin that is within the pill, was shown to cause oil production in the pores of women, and in which case causes acne to show up on the face, and body. Some women take the birth control pill just because it is said to remove the acne, because it is like a two in one solution for most women.
On the other hand reports were said to say that some women stopped taking the birth control pill because of the acne production it was causing them. Different doctors, and scientists have studied different pills, in different women to see what to effect would be with different hormone levels, of the hormone androgen, and also progestin. Both of these hormones were found to either reduce the acne production in the skin, or to increase the oil within the pores.
